Meet Dr. Candice Coleman-Pope, DNP, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, IFMCP, DipACLM

Dr. Candice Coleman-Pope, DNP, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, IFMCP, DipACLM is the founder of TheWholeNP, a root cause medicine practice dedicated to helping individuals restore health through the integration of Functional Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, and evidence-based primary care. She is dual board-certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Florida State University, where her doctoral work focused on Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Coleman-Pope is certified through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and is a Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), allowing her to combine advanced functional diagnostics with the proven science of lifestyle interventions to provide comprehensive, personalized care. For Candice, medicine has always been much more than a profession—it is a calling. She believes every patient deserves to be heard, understood, and treated as a whole person rather than a collection of symptoms or laboratory values. Instead of simply asking, "What medication treats this condition?" she asks, "Why is this happening?" Whether caring for patients, serving her community, or leading restoration efforts through her nonprofit, Candice's mission remains the same: to help restore health, cultivate hope, and empower others to steward the life and body they have been entrusted with.

"I believe medicine is at its best when patients feel heard, understood, and empowered. My goal is not simply to help people live longer, but to help them live healthier, fuller lives by addressing the root causes of illness and walking alongside them on their journey toward restoration." -Dr. Candice Coleman-Pope

Meet Bri Solares

If you've called the office, stopped by The Root Room, or visited TheWholeNP, chances are you've already met Bri. As Office Manager, Bri serves as the heart of our day-to-day operations. From coordinating patient care and managing schedules to overseeing The Root Room, she works to ensure every patient feels welcomed, supported, and cared for from the very first interaction. Bri is currently completing her degree in Leadership with a concentration in Environmental Studies at the University of Central Florida. Her passion for both environmental stewardship and human health reflects her belief that thriving people and thriving environments go hand in hand. Her own personal health journey has given her a deep appreciation for the healing process, allowing her to connect with patients through genuine empathy and encouragement. One of Bri's favorite ways to make the office feel like home is by filling it with plants—including Golden Pothos propagated from a beloved 14-year-old mother plant she has carefully nurtured over the years. She believes nature has a unique ability to bring peace, beauty, and restoration into everyday spaces. When she's not in the office, you'll likely find Bri outdoors—kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, exploring Florida's parks, climbing trees, painting, crocheting, or simply soaking up the sunshine. Her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit are woven into every aspect of TheWholeNP experience.
